Obituary of James LeRoy Green

Roy Green, 76, of Tampa, Florida and formerly from Millville, N.J., passed away April 17, 2024 at St. Joseph Hospital North after an extended illness surrounded by his loving daughters, Tiffany and Kelli and immediate family members.

Roy was a wonderful father, truly devoted to his daughters. He prioritized spending time and showing his love to them, especially after the passing of their mother.

Roy enjoyed his work as an illustrator and cartoonist in many books, starting at a young age and while he served in the Air Force. He continued his career throughout his adult life.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ann, parents, James and Jean Green, and sister, Nancy Davis.

Roy is lovingly survived by his daughters, Tiffany Smith (Shawn), Kelli Green and Heather Green; his sisters, Terry Stavoli (Joe), and Shirley Schiavone (Gary), and nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service for Roy will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 1pm at Florida Mortuary, 4601 N. Nebraska Ave., Tampa, Florida 33603.
